World Environment Day often sees a surge in communication that is quite literally greenwashed. When the United Nations in India approached us with a brief to tackle the connect between climate change COVID-19 , it made us think about how the pandemic has stopped us in our tracks, and in turn “go green”.

We launched the #ChangeOfEnvironment campaign to capture just what it takes to enjoy a better world. A change of the environment around us, by all of the human race, as one. The visuals therefore used colours inspired from a traffic signal, to urge people to stop

We created films and content with simple and strong visuals that touched on changes in our behaviour in terms of consumption, energy use and lowered emissions, choosing messages that could stay with the audience in a post-pandemic world as well.

We also created stories to engage audiences with fun games – an irreverent take on being an accidental “eco-warrior” in the time of COVID-19 – along with screensavers that could act as reminders to be a little more eco-conscious
